The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Tawi-Tawi Provincial Office and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bongao, Tawi-Tawi formally renewed their partnership for the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) through a signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held at the Municipal Hall of Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

The MOA renewal signifies the continuing commitment of both parties to promote inclusive and accessible civil registration services, particularly for indigenous peoples (IPs), marginalized sectors, and residents in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs) within the municipality.

Present during the signing were Municipal Mayor of Bongao Hon. Jasper S. Que, PSA Tawi-Tawi, Chief Statistical Specialist Masil H. Mohammadsha, Registration Officer I Nidzpar Rasid and Information Officer I Fatima Sha-ina Idris alongside the Municipal Civil Registrar Marilyn Jimlan. Both parties expressed their dedication to strengthening civil registration systems and ensuring that every birth is registered and recognized by the government.
