On May 7, 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Sulu, in partnership with the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF), conducted a one-day mobile registration activity in Barangay Tanduh Bagua, Patikul, Sulu. The initiative utilized PhilSys biometric registration and Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) services.

The activity aimed to make National ID and civil registration services, such as birth certificate issuance and late registration, more accessible to underserved communities. Special focus was given to Muslim Filipinos, who often encounter geographic and administrative challenges in accessing these essential government services.

This collaborative effort reflects the continued commitment of both agencies to promote inclusivity and ensure that every Filipino, regardless of location or background, is properly documented and counted.
