PSA RSSO BARMM Conducts Free Vaccination to its Employees in Celebration of the 51st Nutrition Month

18 July 2025, Cotabato City – In partnership with the Office of the  Ministry of Health (MOH) - BARMM  and City Health Office (CHO), the Philippine Statistics Authority - Regional Statistical Services Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PSA RSSO BARMM)  has successfully provided a free vaccination to its employees in celebration of the 51st Nutrition Month, it was spearheaded by the OIC-Regional Director, Engr. Akan G. Tula on 18 July 2025 in Cotabato City.

The activity was further facilitated by Ms. Melanie S. Mohammad, GAD Focal Person, and representatives from the MOH and CHO, which included free vaccines against cervical cancer, Pneumonia, Hepatitis, and Flu, as well as a brief orientation on the importance and benefits of the vaccination activity.

In her opening message, Chief of CRASD Noronisa D. Macadadaya, PhD, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the MOH and CHO for their generous support, emphasizing the value of this initiative in safeguarding the health of PSA employees. This is followed by a message from OIC Tula, who highlighted the importance of preventive healthcare through vaccination, especially during Nutrition Month. He also shares updates on upcoming activities, including a planned sight trip as part of the celebration. Meanwhile, Chief of SOCD, Edward Donald F. Eloja, delivers encouragement to everyone, reminding everyone to prioritize and value their health. The activity marks another meaningful step in PSA RSSO BARMM’s ongoing commitment to promoting health and wellness in the workplace.
