Reference Number: 2024-019

20 September 2024 – Jolo, Sulu. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (RSSO BARMM), led by OIC-Regional Director Engr. Akan G. Tula, continues to see success with its newly established CRS Mobile Outlet as it enters its second day of operations at the PSA Sulu Provincial Office.

On the fourth day of operations in Sulu and the second at the PSA Provincial Office, the support and love from the local community for the CRS Mobile Outlet remain strong. Despite shortened business hours in observance of the Muslim Jum'ah prayer, the team still recorded an impressive 131 transactions, demonstrating the growing demand for the services being provided.

Teamwork was key in ensuring the day’s success, with all staff members working together to deliver seamless service. Registration Officer IV of PSA RSSO BARMM, Delson Yusop, was even interviewed by local media in Jolo, highlighting the significance of this initiative.

During the interview, Yusop stated, "We are so lucky to have the opportunity to be chosen for this new project. BARMM, CARAGA, and NCR are the only regions granted this privilege, and after our opening salvo in North Upi, Maguindanao, we chose Sulu as the first province to
benefit from our services."

The PSA RSSO BARMM remains dedicated to bringing essential services closer to the people and looks forward to further expanding its reach in the region, continuing to make a positive impact in the communities it serves.
