PUBLIC ADVISORY
This month of October is declared as the National Statistics Month (NSM) under Presidential Proclamation No. 647 wherein the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is spearheading the month-long celebration of NSM. This year marks the 35th National Statistics Month with the theme “Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation”. In relation to this, the PSA BARMM will conduct an infographics contest that encourages the Ministries, Agencies, and Other Offices of BARMM to participate. This contest aims to foster the appreciation of new technology and innovation in information dissemination.
The following are the mechanics and criteria:
Mechanics:
Representative’s Information:
Each BARMM Ministries, Offices, and Other Line Agencies shall have only one contestant for the Infographics Contest. The representative or contestant shall submit his/her accomplished FORM 1 through this email address s.cornell@psa.gov.ph. (herein attached FORM 1)
Theme:
The infographics should contain information related to the 35th NSM theme “Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation”.
Infographics size:
The infographics size should be in portrait format with 24 inches (width) x 36 inches (length) excluding the white margins. The entry should be in JPEG format in (600 x 1200 dpi) high resolution.
Submission of Entries:
All entries shall be submitted to PSA BARMM RSSO through the email address s.cornell@psa.gov.ph and we will be accepting entries until 5:00 PM of 29 October 2024. Entries received beyond the deadline shall automatically be disqualified.
Entries to be submitted should observe the following details:

(Ex.: 35th NSM Infographics Contest MOST)
Body of the email:
Name of the contestant
Name of the office represented
Poster description or caption (must not exceed 30 words)
Mobile Number of the contestant
Attached FORM 1
By participating in the contest, the contestant attests that the submitted infographic is originally created by him/her and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the infographic. PSA BARMM RSSO reserves the right to verify this through various means and disqualify any entry at any time.
After the contest, all submitted entries will be deemed the property of PSA BARMM RSSO.
The winner agrees to the disclosure and publication of their full names and infographics in any photo, publicity, or other media arrangements made by PSA BARMM RSSO related to the announcement of the results of the contest.
