07 April 2025 – COTABATO CITY. The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PSA RSSO BARMM) successfully conducted its 2nd Quarter of the 2025 Synchronized Flag Raising Ceremony in partnership with the PSA Central Office, reinforcing unity and collaboration among PSA offices nationwide.
This quarter’s ceremony was made even more special with the physical participation of the PSA Maguindanao Provincial Office, led by Chief Statistical Specialist Naldo G. Pendaliday, who joined the activity at the RSSO BARMM grounds.

The event highlighted the strong connection and shared commitment between PSA Central Office and its regional counterpart in BARMM despite the geographical distance. PSA Central Office is currently proposing the conduct of joint flag ceremonies across all regions. Once the procured LED wall is delivered, regional offices may lead the succeeding ceremonies—another historic initiative pioneered by PSA RSSO BARMM.

Moreover, the Flag Raising Ceremony was also notable as it marked the implementation of the Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 16, s. 2024 and Office Memorandum No. OM2025-08, which outlines the revised dress code policy for government employees.

Falling on the first Monday of the month, the event embraced an ASEAN-inspired theme in observance of regional solidarity. The ceremony concluded with positive energy and a strengthened sense of purpose among the participants.
