29 August 2024 – Upi. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Maguindanao proudly announces the successful launch of the "Rehistro Bulilit" program, aimed at registering children aged 1 to 4 years old under the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). This marks a significant milestone in the government's ongoing efforts to ensure that all Filipinos, regardless of age, have access to a national ID. By registering at an early age, children will receive a unique identification number that will serve them throughout their lives.

Under the supervision of the PSA BARMM regional office, PSA Maguindanao collaborates with local government units and community leaders to bring the "Rehistro Bulilit" activity directly to communities. Thisapproach ensures that parents and guardians can conveniently register their young children for the PhilSys national ID in their own barangays or municipalities, as PSA will conduct the registration on-site. This initiative aims to simplify public and private transactions, making services more accessible and efficient for all residents of Maguindanao.

PSA BARMM plans to continue its efforts across all provinces in BARMM, reaching more barangays and municipalities in the coming weeks to ensure that no child is left behind in the PhilSys registration process.
