4Ps Program Accepts ePhil ID: MSSD BARMM and PSA BARMM

10 November 2023 – The Ministry of Social Services and Development – BARMM (MSSD - BARMM) through its Institutional Partnership Development Officers Mr. Abbusayeed Simpal and Ms. Clarissa Macarimbang came together to discussed and strategize the enhancement of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and the acceptance of the electronic Philippine Identification (ePHIL ID) within the BARMM region.

The ePHIL ID provides a reliable and secure means of verifying the identity of 4Ps beneficiaries. This enhances the accuracy of beneficiary identification, reducing the risk of Fraud and ensuring that assistance reaches the intended recipient.

The utilization of the electronic Philippine Identification (ePHIL ID) by Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), beneficiaries gain easy access to various government services and programs without the need for multiple forms of identification. This convenience is particularly beneficial for those beneficiaries who may face challenges in obtaining or maintaining traditional IDs.

Moreover, MSSD BARMM assures that Those beneficiaries who already obtained Phil ID or ePHIL ID are accepted to use these existing forms of identification for the benefits of 4Ps program. and for those Beneficiaries without an ePHIL ID will encourage to register. MSSD values the participation in this initiative to enhance the delivery of social services.
