25 August 2023 – Cotabato City. The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PSA RSSO BARMM) will hold the CRS-ITP2 “Go Live” soft launching on 29 August 2023 at PSA BARMM Ground floor, Mega Supreme Holding Corporation Bldg., Cotabato City.
If we may recall, PSA-BARMM was formerly situated at Carumba Building, Jupiter St. Rosary Heights 9, Cotabato City and relocated to Mega Supreme Holding Corporation Bldg., Notre Dame Avenue corner Doña Theresa St., Poblacion 4, Cotabato City. In result, CRS operation was temporarily suspended from 1 March 2023 to 27 March 2023 and continued operation on 28 March 2023 under the Batch Request Entry Query System (BREQS) in collaboration with Koronadal and Kidapawan City Outlets, but temporarily suspended again on 7 August 2023 in preparation for the launching of CRS-ITP2 system that involves data migration, testing, and training and this process can't run smoothly while regular operations are ongoing.
While we understand the struggle of our clienteles during the transition phase and we deeply regret any inconveniences it caused, the temporary closure was necessary to make vital improvements and enhance overall experience of our valued customers in acquiring Civil Registration and Vital Statistics documents.
The soft launching is in line with the implementation of the CRS-ITP2 which covers the computerization of the civil registry operations of the PSA and is designed to collect, access, store, maintain, and manage civil registry documents and the specimen signatures of all city and municipal registrars using imaging technology. Moreover, the new features of CRS-ITP2 include Security Paper (SECPA), QR codes on every page of civil registry documents to verify authenticity, unique transaction numbers per document, and serial numbers. Documents also assigned unique Birth Reference Number, Marriage Reference Number, or Death Reference Number.
With the implementation of CRS-ITP2, the system will allow citizens to transact for copy issuances such as Birth, Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR)/ Certificate of Marriage (CEMAR), Certificate of No Death (CENODEATH), Marriage and Death certificates, and authentication. It makes also the documents viewable online, and viewers can transact for Doc Print for this document to be printed on security paper.
