On May 5, 2025, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos – Sulu Regional Office held an Advocacy Campaign and Awareness Program on PSA Services at the Covered Court, Barangay Tandu Bagua, Patikul, Sulu, with PSA-Sulu as one of the invited participants. Mr. Moh. Sahnur Udjah, Supervising Statistical Specialist, spoke on behalf of Chief Statistical Specialist Engr. Medzhor A. Tan, MP, DPA. Darwisa Jakkang gave an overview of Civil Registration and Vital Statistics, while Mr. Abzar Usman discussed the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).

Other speakers tackled key issues such as PD 1083 (Muslim Divorce Law) and RA 11596 (Prohibition of Child Marriage). An open forum followed, fostering public engagement and awareness of essential government services.
