Held in Barangay Darugao, Upi, Maguindanao del Norte on August 29, 2024, the event marked a significant step in extending the National ID System to the youngest members of the community. The initiative was spearheaded by PSA-Maguindanao CSS NALDO G. PENDALIDAY, MPA, with the presence of Municipal Civil Registrar JEAN P. BACAS and Barangay Captain JUANILLO S. PLATON II.
The "Rehistro Bulilit" campaign is part of the broader goal to ensure every Filipino, including the youngest, is registered under the PhilSys National ID System. This early registration is crucial for securing the future needs of children, such as access to social services, education, and healthcare. Local officials expressed their support for the campaign, recognizing its importance in promoting inclusive development and improving the delivery of public services to all citizens.
