25 November 2024, Davao City – The Philippine Statistics Authority–Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PSA–BARMM) participated in the 2nd BARMM Private Sector Organization (PSO) Summit held on 25 November 2024 in Davao City. Engr. Akan G. Tula, OIC Regional Director of PSA–BARMM, represented the office as a discussant. The summit carried the theme "BARMM Sustainable Development: Socio-Economic Investment through Collaboration and Leveraging Public and Private Synergies."

The summit served as a platform for fostering stronger partnerships between the public and private sectors to drive socio-economic growth and sustainable development in the region. Engr. Tula highlighted PSA’s vital role in regional progress, emphasizing the importance of data collected through various surveys and initiatives. He also underscored how PSA’s comprehensive statistical data serves as a foundation for evidence-based planning and decision-making, supporting impactful projects in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
