The Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE) of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) spearheaded the Bangsamoro Labor Day Celebration with the theme:" Manggagawang Bangsamoro, Kaagapay sa Pag-unlad, Sandigan ng Mas Matatag na Bagong Pilipinas" on May 1, 2025 at MBHTE Gymnasium, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

Workers, students, employers, and government partners came together in a potent demonstration of solidarity and dedication to labor empowerment through the successful partnership with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), the Municipal Government of Bongao, the Tawi-Tawi Public Employment Service Office (PESO), the Provincial Government of Tawi-Tawi, and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) joins in this meaningful event by rendering services like National ID registration (biometric capturing) and ephilId issuance. This assistance will directly benefit the workers and their families. The purpose of this celebration is to promote unity among employers, employees, and stakeholders while also honoring the vital contributions made by workers in the province.
