On April 24, 2025 the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) Tawi-Tawi field office conducted an Advocacy Campaign and Mobile Registration on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) and National ID System for the residents of Barangay Mandulan, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi. The PhilSys Tawi-Tawi team together with the PSA Tawi-Tawi Birth Registration Assistance Project joined the whole day mobile registration.

The mobile registration for the National ID and birth registration in Mandulan, Bongao, Tawi- Tawi was a success, bringing government services closer to the people. It demonstrated the importance of community involvement, inter-agency coordination, and adaptability in reaching marginalized populations. This initiative is part of the government’s commitment to universal civil registration and national identification, ensuring that every citizen has access to essential public services, legal recognition, and full participation in social and economic life.
