The PSA Tawi-Tawi kicks off the Training on the 2025 Updating of List of Agricultural Farm Operators and Inland Fishing Households (ULAFO) and the 2025 Listing of Marine Fish Landing Centers (LMFLC) on August 4, 2025. This training aims to equip field personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills for the successful conduct of this nationwide statistical activity. This initiative plays a vital role in generating quality and updated data for evidence-based agricultural and fisheries programs and policymaking.
The training was headed by Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Tawi-Tawi Masil Mohammadsha and the Provincial Focal Person for ULAFO and LMFLC, Senior Statistical Specialist Naim Tanjilul, who ensured that the sessions were well-organized and informative.
Chief Statistical Specialist Masil H. Mohammadsha officially welcomed the participants during the opening program of the 2025 ULAFO and LMFLC Training held on August 4, 2025. A special highlight of the opening program was the inspirational message delivered by the OIC Regional Director of PSA RSSO BARMM Engr. Akan G. Tula, who emphasized the importance of generating accurate and timely statistics to support data-driven agricultural and fisheries programs. He encouraged the participants to uphold professionalism, accuracy, and integrity throughout the data collection process, highlighting the value of their role in national development.
SOCD Chief of PSA RSSO BARMM Edward Donald Eloja also shared an encouraging message to the trainees of the 2025 ULAFO and LMFLC Training. He underscored the significance of teamwork, commitment, and continuous learning in ensuring the quality and reliability of the statistical data to be gathered.
The Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Sulu Engr. Medzhor Tan also conveyed his message during the first day of the training.
