Regional Statistics Committee (RSCom) BARMM Receives a Breakthrough Recognition during the 8th RSC Summit

09 October 2023, Cotabato City. The Philippine Statistics Authority in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, as a co-chair of the Regional Statistics Committee, a special committee under the Bangsamoro Economic Development Council (BEDC), extends the warmest congratulations to the RSCom BARMM for receiving a plaque of recognition as the Breakthrough Regional Statistics Committee for 2023 on 6th October 2023 during the 8th Regional Statistics Committee Summit at the Century Park Hotel, Malate, Metro Manila.

The summit is held annually in recognition of the RSC’s vital role as the policymaking body on statistical matters at the regional level and is regularly participated by the PSA Board member agencies, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Regional Directors who also serve as the RSC Chairpersons, PSA Regional Directors, representatives from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Local Government Units (LGUs) and various regional line agencies, academe, and PSA officials and staff among others.

In meaningful progress forward, the committee’s hard work has achieved a remarkable breakthrough in statistical activities and driving positive change in policymaking and statistical governance. The RSCom members have been instrumental in this journey, contributing their expertise and dedication to make this breakthrough possible. This collaborative spirit reflects the agency's commitment to teamwork and the pursuit of shared goals.

More so, the commendable achievement serves as a testament to the RSCom members' dedication, teamwork, and visionary leadership to deliver effective improvement in resolving statistical issues at the local level. As the world increasingly relies on data for informed decision-making, RSCom BARMM commits to leading the way with its groundbreaking contributions to the field of statistics.
