17 September 2024 – JOLO, SULU. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (RSSO BARMM) headed by OIC – Regional Director, Engr. Akan G. Tula, in collaboration with PSA Sulu, participated in the 634th Bangsa Sug Day Anniversary, offering vital services to the community.

Held at the Bangsa Sug Ground, beside the Sulu Provincial Tourism Booth, the PSA provided free services such as birth registration assistance and PhilSys registration and digital ID assistance, along with mobile SECPA printing for birth, marriage, death certificates, and Certificates of No Marriage (CENOMAR) at regular rates.

The SECPA mobile printing service was a particular highlight, with 95 transactions completed on the first day, many clients requesting multiple copies for their various needs. The high demand for SECPA documents was efficiently handled, despite the team operating with just one set of
equipment, making the day’s achievement especially notable.

PSA RSSO BARMM remains committed to making essential services accessible to the people of Bangsamoro and supporting local communities during important cultural events like Bangsa Sug Day.
