09 September 2024 – North Upi, Maguindanao. The Philippine Statistics Authority - Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PSA-BARMM) successfully held the Civil Registry System Mobile Outlet Program from September 09 to 11, 2024, in the Municipality of Upi. The initiative brought vital civil registration services directly to the local community, making essential documents more accessible to residents.
North Upi was the first municipality to benefit from the convenience of receiving SECPA documents close to home, as PSA RSSO BARMM brought services directly to the community. This initiative aimed to provide easier and more accessible services for obtaining essential documents.
Key officials present at the event included OIC Regional Director Engr. Akan G. Tula, CRASD Chief Noronisa D. Macadadaya, Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Maguindanao Naldo G. Pendaliday, and Registration Officer IV Delson A. Yusop. Their presence underscored the importance of this initiative in addressing the civil registration needs of the area.
During the three-day event, 212 transactions were processed, including the issuance of birth certificates, marriage certificates, and Certificates of No Marriage (CENOMAR). This effort aligns with the PSA's goal to streamline access to civil registration services and ensure that residents
can obtain necessary documents with ease.
The Mobile Outlet Program is part of PSA’s broader initiative to extend services to more remote areas, reducing the barriers to accessing vital records. Local officials, along with PSA staff, were on-site to assist residents, answer questions, and guide them through the process.
The success of the event demonstrates PSA’s commitment to improving service delivery and ensuring that civil registration services are within reach of all Filipinos, especially those in underserved communities.
