Alhussien A. Maguid of Cotabato State University (CSU) and Alibai B. Alamada of Regional Madrasah Graduate Academy (REMA) emerged as the Provincial Champions in this year’s PSQ, showcasing outstanding statistical knowledge and skills. Their exceptional performance among provincial contestants in Maguindanao del Norte and Maguindanao del Sur earned them a place in the Regional Finals, set for November 8, 2024, in Cotabato City, where they will compete against top students from across the region.

In a strong showing, Mohaydi M. Timoso of CSU and Clint Stephen M. Balaso of Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology (CFCST) secured second place in the competition.

The PSQ, conducted annually by PSA in collaboration with the Philippine Statistical Association, Inc. (PSAI), is a nationwide academic competition to enhance students’ proficiency in statistics, particularly among first-year college students. The quiz promotes awareness and appreciation of the field of statistics, reflecting PSA's commitment to fostering statistical literacy and skills in the youth.

PSA Maguindanao congratulates all participants and looks forward to seeing the top contenders excel in the upcoming Regional Finals.
