02 February 2024. Sibutu, Tawi-Tawi. The Philippine Statistics Authority - Regional Statistical Services Office in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PSA RSSO BARMM) headed by OIC Regional Director Engr. Akan G. Tula, together with PSA Tawi Tawi Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Mr. Masil H. Mohammadsha, Atty. Camille Anne Celiz of PSA Central Office-Office of the National Statistician, and Honorable Mayor Nur-Fitra Ahaja, awarded the 712 Certificates of Live Birth (COLBs) in Security Paper (SecPA) to the beneficiaries of the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) in the island municipality of Sibutu, Tawi-Tawi on 02 February 2024.

Also in attendance were the CSS Edward Donald F. Eloja of the Statistical Operation and Coordination Division (SOCD); and CSS of the three Provincial Statistical Offices (PSOs) of PSA BARMM, Mr. Naldo G.Pendaliday of Maguindanao; Mr. Mahmur H. Sarail of Basilan; and Engr. Medzhor A. Tan of Sulu.

The Sibutu Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO), led by Civil Registrar Fadzmar G. Muyong, stands out among Tawi-tawi's LCROs for registering the highest count of Muslim Filipinos through the BRAP initiative. Individuals, including Muslim children and adults, Indigenous People, and Filipinos residing in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas, have gained valuable benefits from the collaborative efforts of the PSA and LCROs, providing free delayed registration and out-of-town registration services.
